When you pray, believe that you receive it; it'll be given to you.

What a promise.

WE.HAVE.FOUND.HIM.COME.AND.SEE   JONESBORO.AR   53-0511

Jesus said, "If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, you can ask what you will, it'll done to you. Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it." That's... But watch the order of the Word now. You believe now, you receive it, it shall be given to you tonight. See? He can't do nothing for you, until first you believe it and say He has done it. Let me let that soak real deep. …No matter how sick you are, what about it, you've got to first believe He does it, and then confess that He has done it, before He can even go to work on it. How many knows that?

Mark 11:24

24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,  believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME.YESTERDAY.TODAY & FOREVER   52-1027

Look at St. Mark 11:24. Jesus said, "Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it." That's the order of the Word now. "Believe now you receive it; it shall be given unto you." Is that right? You shall have whatever you've asked for if you believe it. And now, He... If Jesus paid for it there, why, I believe it, I accept it, and believe it, and go testifying.

Matthew 21:22

22      And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

John 14:14

4     If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 15:7

7     If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

ANGEL.OF.GOD   TOLEDO.OH   51-0720

Believe Him with all your heart; accept Him. No matter what happens, it don't have to happen right now. When--when it happens, it doesn't happen in your crippled arm in your crippled leg so much, or in your bad heart, or the cancer; it happens here in your heart. You believe it; you hold it, and  it materializes. Every seed will bring forth of its kind, is that right? Wheat will bring forth a wheat. Barley will bring barley. Corn will bring corn. Is that right? Well, Jesus said the Word of God was a Seed.  Is that right? Now, Mark 11:24 a Seed then? Jesus said, "Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe you receive it, and you shall have it." Now look, the-- the order of the Scripture. Believe now, you receive it, present tense; in the future it'll be given to you. "Whatsoever things you desire, if you pray, believe you receive them, and it shall be given unto you." See? You shall receive it in the future. Just accept it; believe it; stay with it. Water it; believe it; it'll come to pass. God's under obligation, isn't He? God's under obligation to His Word.

ANGEL.AND.THE.COMMISSION   CLEVELAND.OH   50-0821

He said, "Fear not, for I am sent from the Presence of God to tell you that your peculiar birth and life, to indicate that you're to take a gift of Divine healing to the peoples of the world. You be sincere when you pray, and get the people to believe you, nothing shall stand before your prayer,

not even to cancer." Now, watch the order. God sent the gift nearly forty years, about forty years ago. It's been in the world ever since. This pardoning. Now, the thing I was to do, was to pray for the sick and be sincere when I prayed, and nothing would stand before the prayer. "If you can get the people to believe you..." See the order now? See? The thing of it is, it's... The thing is, is to get the people to believe that this is the truth. And I said to the Angel... Now, you got that part, have you? The gift is not the discernment; the gift is to pray for the sick, and get them to believe you.

You get what I mean? Nothing shall stand before the prayer, not even to cancer. That's just to pray for the sick, and tell them. Said, "Now, you're..." I'm going to pray for you. You believe? I believe with all my heart, and lay hands over on them, and pray for them, and ask the blessing in the Name of the Lord Jesus, pass them on. They're supposed to go away rejoicing, believing they're going to get well.  The crippled supposed to believe they're going to walk. The blind's supposed to believe they're going to see.

The difference between Zacharias and Mary

LED.BY.THE.SPIRIT   ZION.IL   52-0727

Watch when the Angel of the Lord met Zacharias and told him up there he was going to have a son by his wife Elisabeth. "Why," he said, "these things can't be. She's too old, and I'm old."

He said, "I'm Gabriel that stands at the right hand of God, and in His Presence of God. Because you doubted My Words, you'll be dumb till the day the baby's born, for My Words is going to be fulfilled in its season."

Then he was stricken dumb till the day the child was born.

…Then when the Holy Spirit, the Angel of God, Gabriel goes down into the city of Nazareth to little Mary,

…all at once a Light flashes before her. She stops. She thinks, "This is strange." Then something begin to materialize in that Light. She looked standing there, and there stood the great Archangel. Said, "Hail, Mary." It frightened the little virgin. Said, "Blessed art thou among women." She was frightened. It would frighten you. It frightened me. There He was, said, "You're going to have a baby, knowing no man." She didn't argue about it. Said, "The Holy Ghost is coming upon you, and--and overshadowing you. And the Holy Thing will called the Son of God." She said, "Behold, the handsmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to Thy Word." Instead of arguing and questioning, and going along like Zacharias, she just took God at His Word.

BELIEVEST.THOU.THIS?   LA.CA   51-0506A

And there in the bright light stood Gabriel, the Angel of God. Said, "Hail, Mary. Blessed art thou among women. You've found favor with God. And you're going to have a child, knowing no man. And He'll be called the Son of God."  Look, the priest doubted Gabriel's word. But Mary... And he had something to believe that'd happened before that time; but Mary didn't have nothing: never a baby had been born without being, well, like man and wife. But she was going to have a baby by the Holy Spirit. And instead of doubting him, she said, "Behold, the handsmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to Thy Word." Hallelujah. Oh, that's what we need is some more Marys. Take God at His Word. She didn't wait till she felt life; she started right then testifying she was going to have a baby. Hallelujah. As soon as God's Word sinks in your heart, get up and give a testimony, and... "Hallelujah." That's it. When God takes the Holy Spirit and brings that Word to you and makes It alive to you,  a reality that your faith, stand up and claim it.  You don't have to feel nothing, see nothing, or nothing; you have to believe something. Amen.

I.AM.THE.RESURRECTION.AND.LIFE   CHICAGO.IL   52-0810A

Now, sometimes you can callous yourself. Reading the Bible, and just like reading a newspaper, and having about the same kind of faith that you have in one, then you callous yourself. When you read God's Word, believe It just like It says It is there, and take God at His Word. Now, as soon as she read this, or she seen this before her, and the Angel of the Lord said, "You're going to have a baby." Look what she had to believe. Well, she had to believe something that had never happened. Zacharias didn't have to... Plenty times did that happen through the Scriptures. He had plenty of examples. But Mary had to believe something that was total impossible, and had never happened before. But yet, she didn't stagger at it; she just said, "Behold the handsmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me." She took God at His Word.

I.AM.THE.RESURRECTION.AND.LIFE   CHICAGO.IL   52-0810A

Mary said, "Behold the handsmaid of the Lord." She started rejoicing. She was happy. God had promised it; she knowed she was going to have the baby. I believe I spoke something about it last night. She didn't wait till she felt life. She didn't wait till she was positive. She didn't wait till any visible sign. She just believed what the Angel said was the Truth. There you are. The trouble of it is, we question God. And if we question God, we can't believe God. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things you don't see, taste, feel, smell, or hear. Amen. I begin to feel a little religious right now. I... All right. Oh, take God at His Word. She begin to rejoice and praise God, just as soon as she heard. "Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the Word of God." Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] "Faith cometh by hearing." Soon as you hear the Word of God says you can be set free, believe it. Rejoice with it. God will show the evidence after you've accepted it. But first you accept it. Christ died for sinners. I believe it. I accept it. I start rejoicing. God works righteousness by it. I believe He was striped for my healing. I believe it. I accept it. God's Word is healing for me. See, just as soon as I believe. He can't help me till I believe.

Nevertheless At Thy Word

Luke 5:4-5

4   Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

5   And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

AT.THY.WORD   CONNERSVILLE.IN   53-0608E

In other words, I can hear Peter say, "Well, Lord, why, we're fishermen. Why, we--we was born and raised on this sea here. Why, we know when the moon's right, and when all the signs are right. There's not even a fish in that water. Well, we toiled all night long. And we know when the signs are right, and we never even took one fish. We took nothing. And then You come around and tell me to go back in the same waters where I've been seining? And let down and get a whole boat full of them? Why, it couldn't be." If he'd have said that, then he wouldn't have got them. But he said, "Lord, I've toiled all night, and have taken nothing: but nevertheless, at Thy Word I'm going to let down the net." There you are. There's the secret: Taking God at His Word. If there was no fish there, God's able to put fish there. He did do it. That same net that went through that water all night long and caught nothing, but look when God said, "Put it down there."

Matthew 14:28-29

28   And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29   And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

AT.THY.WORD.LORD   WOOD.RIVER.IL   54-0221

The Holy Spirit comes in on the Word of God that's sunk deep in your heart; It'll water It, and It'll grow out, and you'll just... Automatically, you won't desire... As I said last night you won't have to take the leaves off the tree; the new life pushes out and takes the old leaf off. It makes you live a different person. Now, "At Thy Word Lord, I'll let down the net." And when he pulled the draught of fishes, he was astonished. And Jesus said to him, said "Don't fear from henceforth you'll catch men." Oh, "At Thy Word, Lord." I think of Peter when the Lord told him, said, "Come," walking on the waters. Why, Peter never walked on water, never heard of anybody else ever walking on water. "I don't know how to walk on water, Lord, but at Thy Word, here I come." And he did. That's right. The woman that... Oh, many times we just call off different things in the Scriptures if we had time, of the people who have things... Mary had never knowed about how a baby could be born a virgin birth, but she took God at His Word. "At Thy Word, Lord." She went testifying before anything happened; she testified it was going to happen because she took God at His Word. And let's us this afternoon take God at His Word now, and here's what He said in His Word, "Whatsoever things," Mark 11:24, "whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive it, and it shall be given unto you." You'll have it. Now, isn't that simple?

PSALMS 86:7                                                                                   (see Ps 91:14-15)

7      In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

He’s the high priest of our confession

HEBREWS 4:14-16                                                                                (See Heb 3:1)

14    Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15    For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16    Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 5:14-15                                                            (See James 1:6, Luke 11:9-10)

14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

15   And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

WE.HAVE.FOUND.HIM.COME.AND.SEE   JONESBORO.AR   53-0511

We know that Thy Word says that You're the High Priest setting at the right hand of His Majesty to make intercessions upon our confession. What we say that You've done, that's what You do. But if we not... Done do confess it, if we're afraid, then You can't help us. So we pray, God that You'll give each man and woman, boy, or girl in here tonight, courage, real conviction, faith, that'll look up there and see that Son of God setting there in His Majesty, the power of His Spirit moving in His Church, then not be afraid. Say, "By His stripes I'm healed, and I go believing it." Then You're the High Priest. You'll start confessing that in heaven just when we confess it here. But You can't do it, until we first say You've done it. For it's a confession, and that means "say the same thing." We have to say what You say about it. We've already been healed, so we accept it.

…He said, "Wherever two or three are gathered," no matter how small a group, two or three, "I'll be in their midst. What anything they ask, shall receive it." Now, that's either right or it's wrong. Jesus said, "If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, you can ask what you will, it'll done to you. Whatsover things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it." That's... But watch the order of the Word now. You believe now, you receive it, it shall be given to you tonight. See? He can't do nothing for you, until first you believe it and say He has done it. Let me let that soak real deep. How many correctly understands that? Hebrews 3:1: No matter how sick you are, what about it, you've got to first believe He does it, and then confess that He has done it, before He can even go to work on it. How many knows that? When you come to the altar to pray to be forgiven your sins, it isn't 'cause you cry, it isn't because you confess. It's because you believe. And when you believe and stand up and testify...Now, watch. You go outside after you accepted Christ, the old crowd says, "You're no different. There's nothing different." But you believe you're different. Well, if you go say, "No, I guess I didn't get it." Well, you just got another trip to the altar coming. But when you believe you have, you say, "Yes, I am." Then you believe you're a Christian; you can't show nothing that you are. But you believe you are. You believe you are. And then when you confess that you are, and when you confess Him, and He confesses you, He's a High Priest working on what? Not on your crying, not on your repenting, not on your faith, but on your confession. No matter how much faith you got, it'll never do you any good, till you put works with it. For faith without works is dead. Is that right? Just like this... The body without the spirit is dead. Then when you say, "I believe Christ," then accept it, go saying so. Then you believe you're a Christian; you say you're a Christian; you act like a Christian; you associate with those that are Christians; and it works righteousness.

After while everybody knows you are a Christian, because you hold your confess. You act like it. You go down the street, not saying, "Well, I'm just half... Maybe, I'm a Christian." No, you go down say, "I am a Christian." You're bold with it. Then He's bold with it. See? He can only do as you say, because He's the High Priest of what you confess. And He's there before the Presence of the Majesty to make good anything that His redemptive blessings calls for, His sacrifice. That's what He paid for, and standing there to make good to you anything that you say, that you accepted what He has done. What was He done? He was wounded for your transgressions. Is that right?

Overcome by the Blood of the Lamb

REVELATION 12:11

11   And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

ANGEL.OF.GOD   TOLEDO.OH   51-0720

And He said I believe we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the testimony, is that right?  He's the High Priest of our testimony

FAITH.IN.ACTION   CHICAGO.IL   55-1003

When that great redeemed host stands around the throne of God waving the white palms of the--the palms in their hands and the white robes washed in the Blood of the Lamb, "We'll tell the story how we've overcome..." How did we overcome? By the Blood of the Lamb and their testimony.  Hallelujah. What is their testimony? Jesus lives. Oh, let it ring out through the mountains to the hills, send the message far and wide, Jesus lives.         He's not dead but He's alive.

GREAT.WARRIOR.JOSHUA   CHICAGO.IL   55-0119

You got to do some fighting, not with your fists, but with the power of God by your testimony. That's how you overcome, by the Blood of the Lamb and your testimony. Tell the devil he's got no strings tied to you. "You've put this disease on me, but Jesus Christ delivered me from it. He promised it to me."

WHAT.HEAREST.THOU.ELIJAH   LA.CA   59-0412E

Be reverent, watch, and if out in the meeting at any time you feel that God has spoke to your heart while this line's a going through, then you raise your hands and say, "Thank You, Lord Jesus, for healing me." Let... Then tell somebody sitting by you. By the Blood of the Lamb and their testimony they overcame. Is that right? You overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by your testimony if we can just have faith and believe in the Lord God that He will do these things for us.

EXPECTATION   NEW.YORK.NY   51-0930

Oh, how wonderful You are. Amazing grace, how You saved us by Your grace, healed us by Your stripes, made us completely overcomers of all things in the beloved Son of God.

HOW.CAN.I.OVERCOME   JEFF.IN   63-0825M

Overcome how? By taking the Word, the promise, in humility, humbly walking,

This consecrated cross I'll bear Until death shall set me free, Then go home a crown to wear,...

Oh, when that trumpet sounds, you can bury me in the sea, but the trumpet will awake me. I'm going home one day. Amen. Until then I'll struggle on (Amen.) bearing this cross, keeping my eyes not on people, but upon Calvary yonder; for He was my Example; He showed how to do it. And His example we'll gladly follow it day by day. I'm following Jesus each step of the way, I'm following Jesus each step of the way... Don't you like that? Oh, how I think: Follow Him day by day each step of the way. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, hour and fifteen minutes now, standing here trying to take Your Word and explain to the people how to overcome. You told us how it's done. You didn't only tell us, but You showed how it was done. You led us. You showed us how to do it: receive the Word inside of us and be sure to hold that Word, "It is written," in every temptation, but be humble, walk humbly. Then we have conquered through You, through Your power, which has already conquered our enemy. And the only thing we have to do is--is just walk humble with faith believing that and our badge of identification of the Holy Ghost, and Satan has to move.

POSSESSING.ALL.THINGS   JEFF.IN   62-0506

How do you overcome? Could you ever do it by yourself? No. Somebody went before you and overcome for you. It's Christ. I'm just a heir of it.  I don't have to do anything. I'm a heir of the promise. The only thing I have to have, is put my faith on His promise. Do you see it?

See the Finished Work at Calvary

JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME.YESTERDAY.TODAY.&.FOREVER   52-1027

And if a person can just take God at His Word, and see the work finished there at Calvary, and accept it in their own life, that settles it right there. That's--that's all--all is necessary. Then God in His goodness after that, has sent gifts besides that, into the church to manifest His love and His promises to the people. See what I mean? But every individual must look to Calvary. There's where it comes from is Calvary. Now, it's just like this: God pla--put the Blood of Jesus Christ in a deposit box at Calvary to heal all manner of sickness and diseases, and give every believer a checkbook with His Name signed on the bottom of it. The only thing you have to do is fill out the check and send it in for any redemptive blessings that Jesus Christ died for. You believe that? Don't be afraid.

LIVING.JESUS.CHRIST   CHICAGO.IL   53-0906E

Now, the thing it is, is a... is to get the difference between what is the Spirit of God, and what is the spirit of the devil. And then by the atonement in Calvary, that devil is cast out. And I'll assure you, if the believer will come and believe, right here presently no matter what's wrong with it, it'll take place right here. That's right. You've never seen it fail, and it--and it won't. But now, if you go out of here and disbelieve, or just with a little weak faith, it'll come right back on you, even worse than what it was in the first place. For the unclean spirit goes out of a man, he walks in dry places. Is that right? Then he returns back, and if the good man of the house isn't there to keep him away... You must take God at His Word, not your feelings, but take God at His Word. Your faith keeps him away. Just refuse it. He will torment, and peck at your door, and haunt at your windows, but just turn your head and keep on looking forward towards Christ and going on.

AT.THY.WORD   W.PALM.BEACH.FL   53-1204

"At Thy word, Lord, I'm going to rise up from here. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but at Thy Word, Lord." That's it. Take God at His Word, and God's spoken Word must--will materialize and produce just exactly what It says It will. Listen. The right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass.

I don't care what it is. If--if you plant, if you want corn, you plant corn, water corn, leave corn alone. It'll produce corn. Is that right? Wheat will produce wheat. The promise of salvation will produce a Christian. The promise of the Holy Ghost will bring It to you. The promise of Divine healing will make you well. Any Divine promise of God... And the Bible said that the Word of God is a Seed. Is that right? Jesus said that a sower sowed. And if you'll just take It in your heart and don't dig It up every day to see how it's getting along. Just sink It in your heart and settle It.  That's all. Walk right on. God will take care of the rest of it. He's obligated to His Word.

AT.THY.WORD.LORD   WOOD.RIVER.IL   54-0221

And your faith acting will bring God's Word to pass. You've got to believe it, accept it, testify it. Say, "I receive it now, Lord, and that settles it forever. No matter what I feel like, nothing about it; I'm going to believe it anyhow."

Take God at His Word

EXPECTATION   SHAWANO.WI   55-1001

She said, "Behold, the handsmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy Word."  And she went around rejoicing, that she was going to have the baby before she had one evidence that the baby was coming, outside the Word of God. Oh, sister, do that tonight, you, and you, and all of you. Take God at His Word and start rejoicing. Saying, "God said so; that settles it.  I will rejoice anyhow. I don't have to feel nothing or nothing else; I just believe it." Oh, and you'll see an old fashion revival sweep this country, burning out sin. And every church will fill up and what a time it will be. If men and women will do that much, take God at His Word, and be expecting Him to do what He said He would do... You're the children of Abraham; that's only to the promise.

JEHOVAH.JIREH   PHOENIX.AZ   55-0222

The seed of Abraham don't take that "no" for an answer. The seed of Abraham believes it anyhow, regardless of how you feel. That's right. It's not by feeling; it's by faith. Jesus never did say, "Did you feeled it?" He said, "Did you believe it?" That's the thing. "Did you believe it?" That's the main thing, if you believe. "All things are possible, not to him that feeleth, but him that believeth." Put the Word where it belongs. Oh, I--I begin to feel religious, right now. Think of it. If we can take God at His Word, believe It, that settles it. God promised it; that's all that's necessary.

FAITH.IN.ACTION   CHICAGO.IL   55-1003

And most always, when you find people that'll dare to take God at His Word, they're considered neurotics or fanatics. That's right. The real true believer has never had the world to pat him on the back; it's always against him, because he takes God at His Word. And God has never been a friend to the world in the way of the world a being a friend of God, I mean. they're against God because they can't understand God. And you'll never know God only by faith.

WHY.ARE.PEOPLE.SO.TOSSED.ABOUT   JEFF.IN   56-0101

Take God at His Word, for by faith are you saved, and that's through grace, not by works: no mental emotions, no stirred up, no speaking with tongues, no shouting, no nothing. By faith walk into the Presence of God, and say, "Lord God, I come solely on the basis of Your Word and I believe You."

RECONCILIATION.THROUGH.FELLOWSHIP   STURGIS.MI   56-0120

…but it's your individual--or personal faith and trust in God to plunge beneath the Blood, and to be filled with His Spirit, and by become a partakers of the Divine, not a partaker of the church, a partaker of the Divine. The Divine nature changing your own vile nature into a nature that loves God, who believes every Word that He said is the truth, and accepting it as your own personal gift from God. When a believer comes like that, God gives him a checkbook for any redemptive blessing He died for, and Jesus' Name is signed at the bottom of it. Are you afraid to fill it out? If you're afraid to fill it out, you're a coward. You never have come in contact with God. But you once get in contact with God, and the Holy Spirit make Christ real to your heart, you're not afraid to take God at His Word anytime or believe, 'cause you've been in contact with the supernatural. You've come back into fellowship; you've come back in reconciliation through the Blood, and believe God, and know you--you've been in His Divine Presence.

LOOKING.AT.THE.UNSEEN   JEFF.IN   58-1003

When a man once catches that vision of the invisible God and know that He's always present, there's something that stabilizes that man's thinking; it stabilizes his actions, and in the time of distress and trouble, it'll still make him look upward and above the things that are happening around him, because he's looking at the Unseen, yet by promise. Now, how Abraham, not only did he see the Unseen... And the reason he believed it, was because God said it. And if we being dead in Christ, we are Abraham's seed, and if the Spirit that was in Christ dwells in us, it does the same thing. It takes every Divine promise of God that's in His Bible and calls it present tense, and rests itself upon there.

LOOKING.AT.THE.UNSEEN   JEFF.IN   58-1003

When you people that are sick, and has plowed through prayer line after prayer line, and you've been prayed for. You've been to the doctor's; you've done everything, and still death stays at your door... When you get to a place to where you say, "I don't care what the doctor said; I don't care what the scientific world said; Jesus Christ made a promise to me." And pass that barrier of vibrations to your soul that you're free and there's not one thing to shake you; you'll sail into your healing just as certain as I'm standing at this pulpit.

GOD.HAS.A.PROVIDED.WAY   LVL.KY   54-0404

See how God does? Testing, God permits you sometime to get a little worse after you're prayed for just to test you. The testings and trials of faith, but, "He that endureth..." There it is. Hold on; take God at His Word. Believe every Word of It. No matter what anything else says or does, believe  it anyhow. No matter what the circumstance look like, believe God anyhow.

Tell the devil he's a liar

YOU.MUST.BE.BORN.AGAIN   JEFF.IN   61-1231M

You dare to take God's Word and stand there and say It's so. Let this poor little nervous woman here, thinks she's going to die, and everything else is wrong with her... See? You're not dying. Say, "How can I do it, Brother Branham?" Just take His Word and step on It one time once. Stand on that Word, see what happens. Tell the devil he's a liar. You've been in menopause all these years, about fifty-seven years old. And get away from the thing, it's the devil. Take God's Word and say, "By His stripes I am healed," watch what takes place. Then you'll quit thinking you got heart attacks and everything. You don't have no heart attacks and all that stuff. It's a lie. You don't have it. Just believe God's Word.

POWER.OF.DECISION   CHICAGO.IL   55-1007

That's what's the matter with people tonight in Divine healing and everything. It's yours, go take it. Hallelujah. God promised you to walk, brethren, you believe it? You have to take it. God promised you life, brother, do you believe it? Take it. God promised you joy, brother, do you believe it? Take it. God said, "I will give it to you. It's yours." Now it wouldn't be right for God to go and dish all the things out. He give them the land; they've got to do the house cleaning. Amen. It's yours, but He ain't going to come poke it down your neck. You've got to take the land yourself. He give it to you and it's yours; rise and possess it. Hallelujah. It's your choice. If you want to murmur like the other ten did, you'll wander in the wilderness a long time longer, till tomorrow night still sick. But if you're ready to take it tonight, it's yours. What kind of a choice you going to make? I will take Jesus and His promise, and tell the devil he's a liar. Amen.

ONENESS.OF.UNITY   WATERLOO.IA   58-0128

Men of honor, women, you who believe in God, you who claim to have the Spirit of God in your heart, if you're sick or needy, you've got the weapon there to fight that sickness with. It's in you: God gave It to you. Why will we stand back like a coward? Why will we stand on the sidelines? Let's follow the Captain. Let's follow Him that went to Calvary. When He went to Calvary, He was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we were healed. Take that what He gives you and fight sickness and sin. Fight unbelief away. Tell the devil he's a liar. Christ said He has overcome the world. "Greater is He that's in you than he that's in the world." Greater is the power of Christ in you than that sickness that you have in your body tonight. Greater is the power of Christ than that little besetting sin that you can't overcome. Let's take that Holy Spirit, and fight the devil down, and walk out victorious as the heroes of the cross.

WHAT.IS.THAT.IN.THINE.HAND   MACON.GA   55-0611

The Word of God will run away, defeat Satan any place, any time, on any condition, if a man or woman will dare to take God at His Word. Amen.

for I am the LORD that healeth Thee

EXODUS 15:26                                                                            (See Exodus 23:25)

26   And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

I PETER 2:24

24   Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

VOICE.OF.GOD   PHOENIX.AZ   63-0120M

Now, keep that Voice in your heart, "I am the Lord that heals all Thy diseases." Remember, when the Word is spoken, It has to come to pass. Jesus said, Mark 11:22, "If you say to this mountain, 'Be moved,' and don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you said will come to pass, you can have what you said."

PSALMS 34:19

19   Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

WITHOUT.MONEY.OR.PRICE   JEFF.IN   59-0802

If we live right, that doesn't mean that we are immune from troubles. Frankly, it means that all troubles are directed our way. "For many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivereth him out of them all." That's the glorious part.

REDEMPTION.IN.COMPLETENESS   LVL.KY   54-0330

You know, when you get the Holy Ghost, you attend a lot of obstacles. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivereth him out of them all." God brings you right up, facing with it, so He can show you His power and His goodness.

DOOR.OF.THE.DOOR   NEWARK.NJ   57-1212

Cancer or a toothache, it matters not with Him, if He can be Lord over the matter.  You just don't open up that heart to let Him in that faith door, so He can be Ruler. Now, they cast down reason. When you let Christ into the compartment of your heart as faith, then reasons die out.

Draw our strength through His promise

JEHOVAH.JIREH   WATERLOO.IA   58-0127

Notice, then when Abraham was a hundred years old, ninety and nine, in the 17th chapter of the book of Genesis, ninety and nine, and that would make Sarah ninety years old. Still giving praise to God, giving glory to Him, because they believed His Word. They knew it was the Truth. And God appeared to Abraham again, and this time when He appeared to him, He appeared to him in the name of the Almighty God. And the Almighty God in Hebrew is El Shaddai. Now, the word "El" means "God." "Shad" means "breast," breast like the woman. "Shaddai" is the plural: breasted. Therefore, He appeared to Abraham as the breasted God, the strong One. "I am thy consolation; I am thy strength. You're a old man Abraham; you're--you're days are gone, as far as strength is concerned, but I am El Shaddai." Not just one but two: He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripes we were healed. "I'm El Shaddai; just lean onto My bosom, and nurse your strength back again."

PSALMS 103:1-3

1    Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2    Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3    Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases

JEHOVAH.JIREH   WATERLOO.IA   58-0127

And He's still Almighty God, that any believing child of Abraham can, if he is sinful, He's Jehovah-jireh, for one breast. If he's sick, He's Jehovah-rapha, on the other side. And just like a little sick baby that's fretting and weak, it's mother picks it up; she puts it to her breast, and the little baby begins draw the mother's strength through the breast. And we, who have lost our health, sick, run-down, what do we do? We come up to Jehovah by faith. We lean on His breast, His promise, and there draw our strength through His promise. The sons of Abraham's not scared to do that. In the face of anything, they'll still believe it and hold onto it--sons of Abraham--El Shaddai.

JEHOVAH.JIREH   WATERLOO.IA   58-0127

Not only is the baby--not only is the baby drawing its strength, but it's satisfied while it's a drawing. When the baby's nursing, he shuts up. He's a nursing, so he's satisfied as long as he's drawing his strength. And if the believer ever gets a hold of God by His promise, though his  hand's still crippled, his cancer still shows, he's satisfied. He's drawing his strength out of God's promise. Amen. You're going to call me a holy-roller anyhow, so I just might as well get started now. Oh, it's enough to shake you. If there's anything in you to shake. Yes. When the Holy Spirit gives God's promise, and the believer catches a hold of it, all devils in torment can't take him away from there. He stands there; he will call everything, death itself, he'll defy it in the face, when God give him the promise. Amen.

ONENESS.OF.UNITY   WATERLOO.IA   58-0128

When that Spirit is in there, It takes hold of God's eternal Word, and It calls everything contrary to it as though it wasn't. No matter what it--takes place, what the world says, what anything else says... If God has made the promise, the man that's endued with that Spirit, will hold onto that promise of God, 'cause there's nothing else in his way. The church is pure. The church is purged by the Holy Spirit; their conscience is seared of doubt, and unbelief is taken away. And when they hear God's Word say a certain thing, they believe it. Oh, they hold onto it. They just don't move from it.

THEY SHALL RECOVER

PSALMS 118:17

17     I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

James 5:15

15     And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

ODDBALL.THE   JEFF.IN   64-0614E

"The prayer of faith shall save the sick. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover."  He told Noah it was going to rain. It never... He never... Now He never said, "As soon as--as you're prayed for, you're going to be well." He said, "They shall recover."

TRIAL.THE   TAMPA.FL   64-0419

He just said, "They shall recover." Interpret the Word right. "They shall recover." He never set any certain time. And, that is, if they are believers.  If they are believers, it shall recover. "They'll lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover," whether it's now, a week, month, year, ten years, twenty years, fifty years. "They will recover," He said so. That is, if they can hold onto their believing.

TRIAL.THE   TAMPA.FL   64-0419

He said, "They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." If you believe it, then I don't care if it happens right here, if it happens next week, it happens twenty years from today; if you absolutely believe it, it's got to happen.

TRIAL.A   TUCSON.AZ   64-0427

it never set any certain time for deliverance. He never said when. He just said, "They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." He didn't say they'd jump up right then. The Word doesn't say that. James 5:14 said, "When you're anointed with oil," he said, "the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and God shall raise them up." He didn't say they'd jump up right then. It didn't say... Mark 16 didn't say they'll lay hands on the sick, and there'll be a miracle performed. He just said, "They shall recover." It promised it. Now, see if it's been... Some of these unbelievers has been misinterpreting the Word to you, saying, "Well, this one was prayed for. Why didn't he get up? I was at the meeting. I never seen nothing happen."       See that interpreter they got? See what they're listening to? The defense Witness wants to show  to this court this afternoon, that the Word didn't say they would jump up right then. He said, "They shall recover." That's what He promised. He never said any certain time. And that was only to believers.

TRIAL.A   LOUISVILLE.MS   64-0405

You said, "If thou canst believe... If you say to this mountain, don't doubt in your heart, it shall come to pass what you've said, if you believe it." You said, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on    the sick, they shall recover." Lord, I place it right back in the peoples' lap.  It's up to them. I proved to them by the Bible, and we all know it, that the atonement's made. He was wounded for our transgressions.  With His stripes we were healed. It's past tense.

TRIAL.A   TUCSON.AZ   64-0427

Remember, no longer--how, no matter how much it lingers, yet it's got to happen. It's going to happen. These witnesses testify, has absolutely testified the truth, that it is so. God said, "They shall lay hands on the sick, they shall recover." But the outside world wants you to believe as soon as you lay hands on, you must, the crippled legs must be straighten and you must jump up and down. He never said that. He never promised that. He said, "The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and God will raise them up." He never said when. "They lay hands on the sick, they shall recover." He never said when. He said, "When you pray, believe that you receive it, and it shall be given to you." He didn't say when.

PROVING.HIS.WORD   LA.CA   65-0426

You've heard my message on the--on "The Trial," putting Jesus on trial. See, He told Noah, "It was going to rain." It never rained for a hundred and twenty years, but it rained anyhow. He told Abraham he'd have a son by Sarah. It was twenty-five years later. He never said when. He said they'd have the son. Twenty-five years later it happened. See? He didn't say when. He said, "The prayer of faith shall save the sick. God shall raise them up. If they lay hands on the sick, they shall recover." Is that what He said? He didn't say He'd jump up and do it right then. He said, "They shall recover." See? That's His promise. That's what we believe.

JEHOVAH.JIREH   INDIANAPOLIS.INDIANA   57-0612

Don't look at your symptoms, look at the promise. How bad you're sick, look Who great a Person give the promise. God said so.

SECONDHANDED.ROBE   BROOKLYN.NY   56-1206

And if ever if anything that is wrong is a man or woman who'll look and say, "Now, I don't feel any better. Now, they prayed for me over at my church last night. And they believe in Divine healing, but really I don't feel any better." You don't never go by your feelings. Jesus never did say, "Did you feel it?" He said, "Did you believe it?" See where you get the thing all turned around? It's your faith in His promise that does it.

GREATER.THAN.SOLOMON.IS.HERE   S.PINES.NC   58-0625

That's what's the matter, that people don't get healed. You go to looking  at your symptoms. You can't look at your symptoms and be healed. You've got to look at the promise that God made.

EXPECTATIONS   JONESBORO.AR   53-0507

If you're looking at your symptoms they'll be there.

If you look to God's Word, symptoms will have to vanish.
